Stay in Argostoli if you prefer a bustling environment with more shops, restaurants, and activities. It’s the best option for those who want to be in the heart of the island’s action but still enjoy the nearby beaches.

If you want a bit of both, you could even split your stay between the two towns, as they’re close enough to visit each other easily.
